| Hospitality Ministry |
The early church centered on hospitality, breaking bread and sharing the Lord’s supper from home to home. Food is a comfort, a way of drawing people together for warm conversation and lasting friendships. Hospitality can also be the greatest gift in times of family illness or bereavement.
At Christ the King Covenant Church, our family regularly enjoys fun events where fellowship follows food, like Super Bowl parties and picnics. We also host wedding dinners or family meals for funeral services. Serving large groups of people can be an arduous task, but many hands make light work.
If you feel service and hospitality are a place where you can best serve the body of Christ, Angela Robertson will help you find a place to grow in your gifting. We need volunteers to help with food preparation and planning, event decorating, grocery shopping, and clean up.
